Othmane Kabbadj

We’d like to introduce you to Othmane Kabbadj (Coach Otto).
Coach Otto Born and raised in Casablanca, Morocco, Othmane Kabbaj, widely known as Coach Otto, grew up immersed in soccer. He began his journey at age 5 with Wydad Athletic Casablanca. At 17, driven by both education and his passion for the game, Othmane moved to France to pursue studies in Auditing and Finance.
While studying, he continued competing at a high level, playing semi-professionally for Noisy-le-Sec and Aubervilliers in the CFA2 league, Upon completing his degree, Othmane immigrated to Canada, where he embarked on the ambitious journey of founding his own soccer club. Othmane’s coaching career began with the Vancouver Whitecaps, where he spent four years working under Bart Choufour and Emma Murphy, coaching both boys’ and girls’ Academy and Prospect teams. FC Barcelona, Mountain United, and Fusion FC, building a reputation for leadership and player development.
Today, Othmane leads Field Art FC, providing guidance and mentorship to both his coaching staff and players, ranging from U5 to U15. His technical expertise is supported by a UEFA B License, ongoing Concacaf A License studies, and a range of specialized certifications from Barcelona FC, including Neuroscience in Soccer, Team Training, and Video Analysis, as well as BC Soccer licenses and certificates.

Marcel De Jong

Marcel de Jong is a Canadian international with a Dutch background. Marcel enjoyed a long, successful career in the MLS and the top tiers of European football earning many accolades along the way. Representing the Canadian National team on more than 55 occasions is something Marcel holds as one of his most valued career highlights. Marcel spent his entire youth career playing for PSV Eindhoven before signing for Helmond Sport, Roda JC, Augsburg, Kansas City, Ottawa Fury, Vancouver Whitecaps and Pacific FC. Off the field, Marcel has served as president of the Player’s union for the Canadian Premier League and as a proud member of the global council Fifpro. With a desire to continue to give back to the community from which he has gained so much, Marcel has shifted his focus to coaching and development of young athletes.

Nima Moazeni Zadeh

Coach Nima is a lifelong soccer player. Starting at the young age of 8, he fell in love with soccer and the ability it gave him to challenge himself while noticing his self-improvements through practice and discipline.
He currently plays soccer in the VMSL league in Vancouver and has 4+ years of experience in teaching young talented players soccer with the newest methods.
In addition to his soccer journey, Nima began his career as a personal trainer in 2019. He is a Certified Personal Trainer with ACE and has a bachelor of physical education From Tehran University.

Kalonzo Kabongo

Coach Kalonzo has played for a few teams in France, higher level semi professional with FC Douais in National 2, then moved to Australia and signed for Southern Stars FC in Australian, National Premier League in Victoria, and finally finished his career in Indonesia at Persita Tangerang in Liga 1.
All his career he coached and help kids understand all the soccer rules and taught them his way of understanding the game soccer through his knowledge and my experiences.

Barson Man Ho Tin

Barson Man Ho Tin is a Hong Kong international. Barson is currently in UBC University of British Columbia Men’s Soccer Team as a Goalkeeper Coach in Canadian Usport. He experienced in different clubs in China Super League and Hong Kong Premier League as a goalkeeper coach . Barson spent his player career in the Hong Kong Premier League, as a member in his team experienced AFC Champions League , AFC Club , English Premier League Asian Trophy . Representing the Hong Kong National team in different age group.

Nick soolsma

Starting at a young age, Nick began playing soccer in the professional youth academies such as FC Volendam and PSV Eindhoven in The Netherlands. He made his debut as a professional soccer player for HFC Haarlem in 2007.
In 2011 Nick signed for Toronto FC playing in the MLS. In his first year he was awarded having the most assists in the team (8) and scoring 3 goals. In his second year, he played a major role in reaching the semifinal for the CONCACAF Champions League through his assist and winning goal against LA Galaxy (Representing David Beckham in the squad at that time). He also won the Canadian National Championship with Toronto FC in 2011 and 2012. After his 2 years for Toronto FC, he went back to play professionally in the Netherlands for SBV Excelsior and in Australia for South Melbourne FC.
Nick Soolsma’s coaching career started in 2013 where he combined playing and coaching for South Melborune FC in Australia. Since 2014 Nick is coaching at all various levels and age groups in Canada.
Nick holds the Canadian National B-licence.

Matheus de Souza

Matheus is our Goalkeeper Coach. A former Whitecaps Academy player who also trained with Vancouver FC, he now plays and studies at the University of the Fraser Valley. Passionate about working with young athletes, he brings energy and experience to every session.

Adam

Born and raised in Vancouver, coach Adam played local youth soccer with North Delta, Metro Ford, and the BC Provincial teams before receiving a full scholarship to play NCAA Div 1 soccer at the University of Vermont. During this time, he also represented the Canadian U18 National Team, as well as the Jamaica U20 and U23 National Teams. Coach Adam also played professionally in Belgium for KSV Roeselare, Galway United in Ireland, and Western Mass Pioneers in the USL. 
Adam received his CSA National B coaching licence in 2015 and has coached both boys and girls from grassroots soccer, to Whitecaps academies and BCSPL teams, and has also worked as an assistant with the UBC women’s team. Adam looks forward to bringing his experience to P2P.

Paulo

He began his playing career with Jong Sparta Rotterdam, eventually earning promotion to the first team. Afterward, he spent a year in Turkey with Kayserispor before moving to Canada, where he played for the Vancouver 86ers (Whitecaps) for two years.

He later joined Toronto Supra in the Canadian Professional Soccer League (CPSL), where he played for four seasons, and also competed indoors with the Edmonton Drillers (NPSL).

Soccer has always been his passion. Transitioning from player to coach allowed him to continue doing what he loves—teaching, nurturing, developing, and guiding athletes to reach their full potential. His coaching philosophy emphasizes improving technical ability, game understanding, and overall performance, helping players maximize their development both on and off the field.

He is fluent in Portuguese, Italian, Spanish, Dutch, and English, enabling him to connect effectively with players from diverse backgrounds.
